Try your hand at being a Potter - try our Open Room

Our workshop in Clothar has an open room for you to try your skill on the potter's wheel.  This Visitor Centre is open Easter to September, 10am - 5pm and October to Easter from 11am - 5pm. A professional thrower can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots, and visitors can try their skill at making the simplest shape.

It is great fun and absolutely free to take away the piece you make. Should you wish to have your piece fired the charge is €15 and shipping is €10. Each additionla piece shipped to the same address is an extra €8 (€5within Ireland)
