Try your hand at being a Potter - try our Pottery Experience
Our workshop in Clothar has an open room for you to try your skill on the potter's wheel. A professional thrower can be seen going through the daily routine of throwing pots, and visitors can try their skill at making the simplest shape.
It is great fun and the experience is absolutely free.
There is a nominal fee of €2 if you wish to take the raw pot with you or you can have your piece fired at a charge of €15, shipping is €10.
Groups charged a nominal rate of €4 per person. Pre-booking applies for groups.

Open Tue - Sun in July & August (closed Mondays)
Open Bank Holiday Weekends (incl. Bank Holiday Monday)
Please note that our Pottery Experience will not be open on the following dates during July & August
- From Sunday 18th July until Thursday 22nd July
- Friday 27th August.
