Louis Mulcahy
The Man Behind It All

When Louis Mulcahy won first prize for pottery in the National Crafts Competition in 1975, he decided to move his workshop from Dublin to Dingle.

He and Lisbeth, with their three young children, left secure employment in television, sold their house and invested their
savings in the then very risky venture.

His vision was to produce
the aesthetically and technically best pottery and to develop a
studio/workshop which would leave an indelible print on the long term history of Irish handcraft.

We so enjoyed our visit in Ireland and happy we could shop with you. What we purchased was mostly for gifts and people have been very pleased with the pottery.  Hope we can visit again  sometime in the future but until then we are happy we can order online.  Thanks and have a wonderful day.

Thanks so much for your follow-up e-mail! The mirror arrived safe and sound; you folks did a FANTASTIC job packaging it safely. Becky and I are remodeling a condominium and the Louis Mulcahy mirror will occupy a place of honor on the wall! Thanks again!
